Loft or bunk bed plan – full size standard height
This is a project plan that details how to build a Loft Bed full-sized. The assembled bed measures 66 1/2″ in height, by 57 1/2″ wide, by 81″ long and has 48 inches of clearance beneath. This bed is not difficult to build and it takes little skill. The ability to make straight cuts on a board, drill and sand is about all that you need. The tools that you need to build this project are a circular saw, an electric drill and a power sander. In addition, you need a few bits for drilling and screwing. You can build it using non-power tools if you care to. We have built many beds just like this and they are very durable. Look at the sturdy bunk and loft bed plans page.
