Workez executive – folding, aluminum, ergonomic laptop stand, lap desk, reading stand
The WorkEZ Executive is a godsend
The WorkEZ Executive is a godsend. Have experienced a lot of neck and shoulder pain over the years from bending my neck down to read books and use my I Pad. With WorkEZ, I can now read at eye level, as well as type on the I Pad which alleviates the neck pain. This product is easy to adjust to the desired height, and is very lightweight. I would encourage young and old to consider the WorkEZ.
The stand requires that you set all the joints on angles provided in a directions sheet. However, my stand has all the wrong numbers (they don’t even represent degrees) and it doesn’t correspond in the slightest to the sheet, so it has been completely useless and I’ve had to figure out how to use it on my own. That being said, setting it up is time consuming, and changing positions really disrupts the flow of work. Maybe after some time I’ll get used to it, but it’s annoying that it’s improperly labeled and so difficult to set up every time. Other than that the stand is sturdy.
I decided to buy this stand after deciding it was just too expensive to buy or build my own stand up desk. This stand enables me to take my stand up desk anywhere with me and doesn’t take up much space. The only complaint I have is that it is a little bit wobbly if you are using the laptop keyboard. However, given that I use it standing up, I have the separate keyboard stand which helps to alleviate that issue (though not totally since it also wobbles a bit). Even with that issue, I still recommend this stand. It is especially helpful when you want to use your laptop in bed as well and has an excellent adjustment range.
LOVE this product – I am able to turn my home office table into a standing desk whenever I like. No need to raise or lower anything, I just move my laptop back and forth as needed. I have not tried it in any other positions, but like the options to use it while sitting on a sofa or bed as well. Set up is pretty easy once you get use to adjusting the legs.
Wobbily I am very interested to receive the fix you are working on for this product.

I am having medical issues which confine me to bed. I’m able to lay flat on my back and work using this. It is light, well made, and the degrees of freedom are amazing. After my surgery I’ll need to stand a lot, so I can see that I’ll be able to use this then as well to keep my laptop at an economically correct level. The customer service with this company is also great.
Awesome I started using this product not too long ago and it’s been working great! I primarily bought the WorkEZ Executive for the use of putting my MacBook Pro onm it while lying in bed. I paid extra to get the cooling fans and the USB ports and I’m glad I did. MacBook’s don’t seem to have fans in it like other laptops do so it gets REALLY hot and occasionally, my legs get warm/red because of the heat, so having the cooling fans has been wonderful as it actually keeps my laptop cool. In addition, my back doesn’t strain when I use it on my bed 🙂 I have not used this for any other purpose yet but definitely recommend the product. I initially had problems adjusting it, but now it seems easy. For reference, I bought the silver one and it looks awesome.
This is a great solution. Very easy to set up and use and you can literally set it to any angle or height you want. It’s lightweight so its easy to move if you want to sit for awhile. I am much more productive and high energy standing than sitting!
this has really made a difference in my workspace. I’ve made my laptop a standing desk. I can definitely concentrate better and my back is happier.
My husband purchased this stand for me and it has been extremely helpful. I keep it in the living room and work with my laptop on it in the evening when I watch my favorite TV shows. We have a small coffee table and the stand allows me to keep the laptop off the table, where I’ve had too many close calls with cups of tea. My MacBook is safe and secure just where it is.
